Hello, I’m Semih Kurt. As a director of photography, I contribute to projects across cinema, television, and digital platforms by giving each story a unique visual identity. I began my career in cinematography with the belief that stories shouldn’t just be told—they should be felt. This belief led me to explore how light, color, framing, and camera movement can convey emotion.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked on productions that have reached both national and international audiences, including Yalı Çapkını (2022), Sefirin Kızı (2019), Camdaki Kız (2021) and Kırmızı Oda (2021). In every project, my goal is to blend the director’s vision with technical expertise to create the most compelling visual narrative.

Every moment behind the camera has offered me the chance to sharpen my technical skills and expand my artistic expression. My passion for the expressive power of light, the emotional impact of color palettes, and the rhythm of framing forms the foundation of my work.

I believe in clean yet striking compositions, lighting design that enhances atmosphere, and visuals that serve the story. I place great value on teamwork on set and believe in the creative power of collaboration.
